Free LPG Connections Scheme for BPL Families: Narendra Modi

Narendra Modi, Prime Minister  of India has planned to provide free LPG – Liquid Petroleum Gas /Cooking gas connections to families who belongs to the Below Poverty Line -BPL. The Prime Minister Narendra Modi will launch the Free LPG Connection Scheme to poor on 1st May 2016 Publicly .The India PM Narendra Modi is providing the Poor/BPL Households Free LPG Gas Connection Through the Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana – PMUY of Central Govt. of India. The Give It Up campaign, which has convinced the Able Indians to give up their LPG subsidies for their gas connections, will now help the Under BPL and poor Families to get their first gas connection under the Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana (PMUY).The Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi will launch the Free LPG Gas Connection scheme at Ballia in Uttar Pradesh. Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana has budgeted Rs. 8,000 crore to provide 5 crore free LPG connections to BPL belonging families across all over India and decided to provide 1.5 crore connections in the first year of the implementation of the Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana scheme.

The Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana (PMUY) also provides financial support of Rs. 1,600 for each LPG connection to every BPL household.After the official launching of the Give It Up campaign in March 27, 2015,  almost 1.13 crore LPG Gas Connections Holders have given – up their LPG subsidies and Now they are buying the LPG gas at market price According to the Dharmendra Pradhan, the Oil Minister central Govt. of India.Thus The Give It Up campaign move has helped the govt to save Rs. 1,080 crore a year at the current prices.The money which has been saved through the Give It Up campaign has already helped 60 lakh BPL Families to get connections.The Central Govt. of India is going to Launch Free LPG Connections Scheme for BPL Families on 1st May 2016: Narendra Modi.The Poor Households should go online to the web portal to get all details of LPG Gas Connection Scheme.The PM Narendra Modi has asked the capable persons to give up their LPG Subsidies so that the Govt. can Provide Free LPG Connection Scheme to poor of behalf of the Give it up Campaign.
